Official Rules and disclaimers
1. Eligibility:
The contest is open to legal residents of Oklahoma who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry.
Employees of Woolaroc Museum & Wildlife Preserve, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
2. Entry Period:
The contest begins on March 1, 2025 and ends on October 4, 2025. Entries submitted before or after this period will not be considered.
3. How to Enter:
Participants may submit one original photograph taken at Woolaroc Museum & Wildlife Preserve.
Entries must be submitted in JPEG or PNG format via the form on the contest page.
Each entry must include the participant’s full name, address, phone number, and email address.
5. Judging:
Entries will be judged by a panel selected by Woolaroc Museum & Wildlife Preserve based on creativity and originality.
All decisions by the judges are final and binding.
6. Prizes:
The winner will receive a 10-year family membership to Woolaroc Museum & Wildlife Preserve valued at $2,000.
Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternatives will be provided.
W reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary.
7. Rights Granted by Participants:
By entering the contest, participants grant Woolaroc Museum & Wildlife Preservea non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and display their submitted photographs in connection with the contest and for promotional purposes, without further compensation.
8. Limitation of Liability:
Woolaroc Museum & Wildlife Preserve is not responsible for any technical failures or unauthorized human intervention that may affect the submission or judging process.
By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Woolaroc from any liability arising from their participation in the contest or acceptance of any prize.
9. Disputes:
This contest is governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma. Any disputes arising from this contest will be resolved in the state and federal courts located in Osage, Oklahoma.
10. Privacy:
Personal information collected from participants will be used solely for the purpose of administering the contest and will not be shared with third parties without consent.
13. Agreement to Official Rules:
By participating, entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of Woolaroc Museum & Wildlife Preserve], which are final and binding.
14. Tax Obligations:
Winners are responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes associated with the prize.
15. Void Where Prohibited:
This contest is void where prohibited by law.
