October 18-20, 2019
Categories: Fundraiser
Opening weekend is October 18–20, 2019. Art will be on display until the end of the year.
Woolaroc Museum and Wildlife Preserve is proud to announce its upcoming art exhibition, The Woolaroc Retrospective Exhibit and Sale, opening October 18, 2019, and continuing through December 29, 2019. According to Show Director Dean Zervas and Museum Director Shiloh Thurman, the show is a result of the great success that Woolaroc enjoyed with its first national show in 2013, Lewis & Clark Corps of Discovery. That show was followed by The Best of the Best Contemporary Wildlife Art Retrospective Exhibit and Sale in 2015, which featured seven wildlife artists; and The Best of the Best Retrospective Exhibit and Sale in 2017, which featured eight contemporary painters and sculptors.
This year’s show will feature Tony Angell, Clyde Aspevig, Logan Maxwell Hagege, Quang Ho, Tony Hochstetler, Jeremy Lipking, Thomas Quinn, and Skip Whitcomb, all of whom are nationally recognized for their work. A cocktail reception will be held in the museum on Saturday, October 19, and the artists' work will be for sale during the reception by silent bid. View Artwork for Sale. In addition, two artist presentations will be held in the Museum of Woolaroc earlier in the day.
