Richard V. Greeves Exhibit

March 23-August 31, 2022

Woolaroc is pleased to announce the exhibition of the works of world-class sculptor artist, Richard Greeves, in the museum this Spring.

Greeves is well known for his award-winning body of work which is primarily devoted to portraying the life and culture of Native Americans. He has shown his works previously in the Woolaroc museum during Woolaroc’s national art exhibition in 2013. “Richard Greeves has been a friend to Woolaroc for a number of years and we are thrilled to exhibit his classic works in our museum this year,“ states Museum Director, Shiloh Thurman.

“Richard’s art fits perfectly in the museum,” states Woolaroc CEO, Kevin Hoch. “His piece Bird Woman was acquired in 2018 as part of the permanent collection and belongs among the rest of our world-class art.”

The exhibit opens on March 23, 2022, and will showcase 55 sculpture pieces with a focus on works detailing the Lewis and Clark expedition. The exhibition will be on display through August 2022 and is free with paid general admission.
