Woolaroc is closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. We are also OPEN on Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day regular hours. If New Year’s Eve/Day falls on a day we are typically open, we will remain open those days as well!
Video and still photography for individual use are permitted everywhere, but please refrain from using a flash.
No food or drinks are permitted inside the Museum or Lodge. The Prairie Dome Cafe is indoors and has plenty of food options, and outdoor seating is available both at the front gate picnic area and on our main grounds. Indoor seating is available in the Welcome Center where the Cafe is located.
Main Museum or Front Doors of Museum entrances are wheelchair accessible. (The door in the lower level is not ada accessible). Handicap parking is provided. Wheelchairs are provided free of charge on a first-come, first-serve basis. Accessible restrooms are located on both floors of the Museum, Welcome Center, and Bunkhouse Wildlife Gallery.

As long as your pet is leashed, potty-trained, and well-behaved – they are allowed in all areas except the historic Lodge.
No! The majority of our visitors simply purchase at the front gate on the day of their visit.
