Kidsfest 2010
The Osage Hills will come alive at Woolaroc on June 26 and 27 as they present Kidsfest, “A Return to the Wild, Wild West!” This years Kidsfest will focus on the theme of the old west and what it was like to live in those days. Re-enactors will establish their camps on the grounds of Woolaroc with Mountain Men, Cowboys and Indians, showing the kids the authentic lifestyle of those wild days. Children will have the opportunity to learn, observe and sometimes even participate in the action as these people share the stories and the history of those wild and rugged days.
Crafts, games, pony rides, entertainment, good food and more, as always, will still be a part of Kidsfest, but this year marks the opportunity for Woolaroc and our guests to reach back and touch a part of history that for many, has slipped away. We don’t think it should and we want to share it with our future generations.
There is no extra admission charge for Kidsfest, adults are $8, over 65 is $6 and children 11 and under are FREE! The gates will open at 10 am and Kidsfest will be run until 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday (June 26/27).
